Mulago School of Nursing and Midwifery has graduated over 600 students in nursing, midwifery, and palliative care. Principal Josephine Nambiro Kigozi(Mrs) highlighted the school’s focus on practical and professional skills, noting the launch of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in affiliation with Busitema University. The graduation ceremony was officiated by Kampala Minister Hajjat Minsa Kabanda(Representing the President of the Republic of Uganda) and State Minister for Higher Education John Chrysestom Muyingo (Representing the First Lady & Minister of Education and Sports).The ceremony was also graced by the Vice President Emeritus – H.E Edward Ssekandi: Served as Vice President from 2011 to 2021.The event also witnessed the Launch of the Construction of the Multipurpose Building to cater for the infrastructure demands visa vie increasing students intake.
